Hello Crafty Friends!!
I hope you are all staying safe and well wherever you are. I know this is a super stressful time for all worldwide right now, and this post I hope will add some goodness for you guys. Today we are talking about two of my happiest things coming together in a glorious union, CHRISTMAS and CRAFTING!
I am on the Design Team at Christmas Craft Creations with a phenomenal group of crafters, and we are here, for our April Challenge of creating something Christmas-y while using a stamp.
Here is mine:
I have to confess to you all, Christmas is my jam! I listen to Justin Bieber Christmas Radio year round when I'm cleaning my house, and once Easter is done, I am SUPER ready for Christmas to come back. So, with things as they are, what better time to create something that brings JOY(see what I did there)? Maybe you want to get a head start on your Christmas cards with all this extra time at home? Or you just need something creative and happy in your life? I think it's time to make some Christmas projects! If you want to take part in our challenge, just enter your stamped Christmas project HERE.
Now for the creating, I am trying to have a personal challenge to use supplies I have never used before. Recently having to replace nearly all my craft supplies means... there's A LOT I haven't used yet. I started with my stamp set which is an older one from Hero Arts called Color Layering Joy Message, I then added the smaller sentiments from Neat and Tangled, Happy Holidays set. My circles are all Spellbinders Layered Circles, and my inks are Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxides in Black Soot, Candied Apple, and the shadow is in Hickory Smoke. My solid cardstocks are all from Stampin' Up, and the patterened paper is from The Paper Studio's There's No Place Like Home For the Holidays set, and the glitter cardstock is also The Paper Studio. It's been so rainy lately there's not been much light for better pictures.
I am really hoping to see some Christmas-y Stamped Creations from you crafty people!! Please stay safe, practice proper distancing, and wash your hands often!
Happy Quaratine Crafting!
